First ‘normal’ Easter holiday by the sea does not lead to more bookings than in peak year 2021 | Inland

The tourist rental offices are satisfied with the bookings for the Easter holidays. Although the peak year of 2021, when people mainly traveled in their own country due to corona, will be difficult to match. In the first week of the Easter holidays, the occupancy figures are between 70 and 80 percent. For the second week, including the extended Easter weekend, an occupancy between 80 and 90 percent is noted. This means that the figures are slightly higher than in 2019.

There is still some margin at the coastal hotels. A quiet start to the Easter holidays is expected there. The hotels are therefore hoping for extra last-minute reservations in good weather. The camping sector also sees a quiet start to the holiday. The second holiday week ensures better occupancy.
