Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz has reached the final of a masters tournament for the first time. The 18-year-old top talent did that by beating defending champion Hubert Hurkacz from Poland in the semi-finals in Miami. Alcaraz won in two sets that both ended in a tiebreak: 7-6 (5) 7-6 (2).
Alcaraz, who already reached the semifinals in Indian Wells two weeks ago, will compete against Norwegian Casper Ruud in the battle for the title in Miami. Alcaraz is number 16 in the world, Ruud is eight places higher.
