The Zuidwolde Entrepreneurs Association and Plein-Zuid Business Club joined forces for the first time on Thursday evening. A possible merger, such as with the two Zuidwoldig football clubs, was certainly not the idea behind this. “But a number of members are members of both associations, so it is good to do something together,” says OVZ chairman Ard Hartman.
The first joint networking evening with three company visits certainly resulted in a large number of participating entrepreneurs. Also many new faces, because there is still growth in the Zuidwolde business community. “I know that there are 20 to 25 entrepreneurs who would like a new building on the business premises, but everything is full,” says Hartman, co-owner of AllezFlex in daily life. “Expansion of the industrial estate is a wish, but first an investigation into a location must be conducted.” Hartman announced that the Open Business Day will be held in Zuidwolde in the first weekend of November 2024.
