First German evacuation flight from Sudan landed in Berlin

The first German plane to evacuate people from the besieged Sudanese capital of Khartoum landed in Berlin on Monday morning. The plane left on Sunday. There were 101 people on board: Germans and their relatives as well as nationals of partner states. This is reported by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Twitter. As long as safety allows, further evacuation flights are planned.
