First football boot with Parley Ocean Plastic

Adidas has launched a new boot silo made partly from plastic waste found in the oceans and beaches.

For the ‘Adidas Football x Parley Boot Pack’, the sports goods manufacturer from Herzogenaurach is continuing its cooperation with the non-profit environmental organization Parley for the Oceans, Adidas announced on Wednesday. The material, made from recycled plastic waste, is used for “the most important shoe models” in football – Predator Accuracy, X Speedportal and Copa Pure.

The design of the models is also based on the theme and so they are kept in blue and white and rely on curved lines that are supposed to be reminiscent of waves.

The various shoes are already available from Adidas and cost between 90 and 280 euros depending on the model.
