Little fingers have been touching the nutmeg. In the first exhibition space in Museum aan de A, formerly the Northern Maritime Museum, the number 14,000 is written in the corner. The numbers are filled with nutmeg. Apparently some curious visitors wondered if the spice was really in the numbers. “Plexiglass will be added to that,” said spokesman Karlijn Donders.
