Al-Jazira Club from the United Arab Emirates have easily advanced to the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup.
The favored hosts won 4-1 (3-0) against AS Pirae from Tahiti, now the next round on Sunday is against Al-Hilal from Saudi Arabia. Pirae, an amateur club from French Polynesia, had been chosen to represent Oceania after New Zealand’s Auckland City FC, which had actually qualified, canceled due to the corona pandemic.
