Anniina and Ville married in the program in May 2019 in Suomenlinna. Now the couple stepped to the altar again in the presence of relatives.
A few hundred people got to witness the enduring love of Ville and Anniina over the weekend as they held a new wedding party in Loimaa. In an interview with Iltalehti, the couple confirms that they held their own looking and big wedding party.
The wedding was celebrated according to the traditional formula. At Kanta-Loimaa Church, they were blessed by rock priest Kari Kanala. The priest was familiar as he ordained the couple in the First Meetings at the Altar program.
The festivities continued on Sunday until day three, as after the official wedding ceremony there was a celebration as well as a morning brunch. Now the couple’s dream of a big and traditional wedding has come true.
A touching wedding party
The couple tells Iltalehti their excitement about their second wedding. Bigger wedding parties have been the couple’s dream when they found their relationship working even after the filming.
Already at the first wedding in the First Dating at the Altar program, Ville and Anniina noticed that their families were getting along well. The second wedding celebration was held in Anniina’s hometown of Loimaa.
– Wonderful when we got everyone close to the place and had a bigger party. It was important for me to celebrate in the domestic landscape, Anniina says happily.
The couple describes that the wedding was hectic, but they were able to relax and enjoy their party. Love, close people and emotions were at the center of the celebration.
Surprise guest
The highlight of the evening is what they call together when Anniina’s family and gases totally surprised the wedding couple. The singer sang in the church after the blessing Joel Hallikainen.
– It was a complete surprise. The most emotional moment was when he sang so what from the film Pekko and the Mass Charmer, Anniina describes him as happy.
– Garbage in my eye. Yesterday and today, one Loimi River is filled. If you didn’t cry at the TV wedding, then now all the sensitivity came to the yard, Ville sums up laughing.
They are grateful to their family members and friends for making the wedding possible. The couple says one dream has now been fulfilled.

New project
One big milestone in the couple’s plans for the future has now been ticked off. Both say the wedding party was a purely positive experience in the final games.
– I’m looking for a partner in the program. I would not have thought then that this could have happened. Now it’s got a goal, we’ve held that big wedding, Ville says of his thoughts on the wedding.
The happy couple will continue with a new project right after the wedding party. They are applying for building permits next week for their cultural-historic site.
– The project always seems to follow one another. The house project is now next after the wedding, Anniina confirms.
The couple plans to build their own house for which permits are being sought.
– Let’s make our own dreams at our own pace, Ville says of the couple’s dreams for the future.
– Then you could calm down for a while, the couple laughs.
