Bugatti Holding Brinkmann GmbH & Co. KG has appointed Florian Wortmann to the newly created position of Chief Brand Officer. Wortmann will take up his new role on October 1 and will report directly to Managing Director Julius Brinkmann.
Wortmann’s future area of responsibility will include product development and brand building for the Bugatti brand and the umbrella company Bugatti Holding Brinkmann GmbH & Co. KG, the Herford-based clothing group announced on Thursday.
“For us, the creation of the new position of Chief Brand Officer is an important strategic decision. The timing is perfect and absolutely necessary for further expansion,” says Brinkmann.
Wortmann is moving from Baldessarini to Bugatti after the Ahlers takeover
Wortmann will remain Managing Director of Baldessarini GmbH until the end of September, after which he will move to Herford. R.Brand Group GmbH, a new subsidiary of the Röther Group, which recently acquired the main assets and brands of Ahlers AG, including Baldessarini, announced the departure of Wortmann earlier this month. At that time it was said that the manager would still work with the product team on the HW24 collection and then leave the company to “take on a new professional challenge”. The previous Head of Sales Grischa Gladen will then assume responsibility for the men’s fashion brand.
Before Wortmann joined Baldessarini in 2020, he was responsible for the CG – Club of Gents brand at Création Gross GmbH as Division Head. The manager, who has already been named “Young Elite – the top 40 under 40” by the business magazine Capital, is also considered a team player and visionary, is success-oriented and has a real passion for visions and trends, according to the announcement.
“Julius and I have been in touch for a long time and we knew we just had to wait for the right moment. It’s come now,” says Wortmann. “For me, Bugatti is a brand that has no borders worldwide. I am happy to support the team, the brand and the Brinkmann family with my full commitment. We will go full throttle!”
