It’s best not to get it in the first place. If it should be too late, here are tips on how best to deal with sunburn.

The best help for sunburn

Cool! Cool showers help the skin to calm down. Wet wipes do the same if they stay on the skin for at least an hour.

Drink a lot! When skin burns, it loses moisture. With plenty of water you support the cells in healing.

After-sun products with dexpanthenol! This active ingredient promotes wound healing and stops unpleasant itching. Appropriate creams and sprays are available in pharmacies without a prescription.

Aloe vera! It’s available as a gel in pharmacies and drugstores. The ingredients of aloe soothe skin irritations and strengthen the immune system.

healing earth! Supplies the skin tissue with nutrients and oxygen, thereby supporting healing. Make a paste of water and healing clay and apply to the reddened areas. When dry, gently shower with cool water.

cortisone cream! Helps with bad burns, has an anti-inflammatory effect. Available in pharmacies.

Caution: If blisters form, you must see a doctor!
