The fire service is still not in control of the forest fires in the Navarra region, in northern Spain. About 1,000 residents from twelve smaller villages had to be evacuated because of the advancing flames and heavy smoke development. This is reported by the Spanish newspaper ‘Noticias de Navarra’ based on the local authorities.
