In the top game of the 2nd league between St. Pauli and Greuther Fürth, the first half was overshadowed by ugly scenes. A firecracker flew onto the field.
According to the Hamburg club, there were no injuries when a firecracker was thrown in the top game of the 2nd football league between FC St. Pauli and SpVgg Greuther Fürth. A spokesman for the club announced on Saturday during half-time of the game: “A suspect has been caught.”
Immediately after Elias Saad made it 1-0 (30th minute) for FC St. Pauli, a firecracker flew from the stands and exploded near the hosts’ dugout. St. Pauli’s equipment manager, Kenta Kambara, stood nearby and appeared briefly dazed, but was uninjured.
