A fire broke out in a house on Ooievaarsstraat in Zaandam tonight. The fire brigade is present with many vehicles. It is not yet clear how the fire started.
Around a quarter past seven, the fire brigade went to the Ooievaarststraat in Zaandam. The home of the fire and several adjacent homes have been evacuated.
The limited space around the house makes it difficult to extinguish the fire, so the fire brigade emphasizes not to come to the Ooievaarsstraat. “Give the fire brigade space and stay out of the smoke,” said the spokesman for the fire brigade.
According to the spokesman, no one was injured and all residents managed to get out of the house unharmed.
