A fire broke out this afternoon in a house on the breeding battle in Emmen. The fire brigade received a report of the incident around 3 p.m. and found a home with considerable smoke development on arrival. The street was full of smoke that, according to local residents, could already be seen from far away.
The cause of the fire would be with a dishwasher and the washing machine. Local residents immediately tried to save a dog from the house, but because of the closed smoke they had to stop their attempts. A neighbor finally managed to bring the animal to safety. The dog makes up for it by circumstances.
There was also a fear of a cat, but it turned out to be outside and was not injured.
The fire brigade quickly had the situation under control. The house did suffer a lot of smoke and fire damage. There were no injuries.
