Forekom becomes a base of Belgian Special Forces Aviation and Light Helicopters

The Air Force (Beauvechain) Air Force Base is the reference base for the light helicopters and for the air component of the Special Forces. The Council of Ministers approved the construction of new infrastructure on the base on Friday, and that decision confirms its role, emphasizes Minister of Defense Theo Francken (N-VA).
