Fire in rest home quickly extinguished in Roeselare

The fire started around 7.30 am in the residential care center on Westlaan. A drying cabinet in a technical room suddenly caught fire.

“The fire was quickly extinguished, but there was a lot of smoke. The medical intervention plan was announced and four floors were evacuated, but no one was injured,” said Midwest Fire Department.
