In the evening there was a fire in a bakery of a discounter market on Emser Straße in Berlin-Neukölln.
The fire brigade was on site with almost thirty firefighters and was able to quickly extinguish the fire. Nobody got hurt. Karl-Marx-Strasse had to be completely closed due to the operation going out of town.
The damage to property could be high: the toxic smoke spread throughout the store – including the food. The cause of the fire is unclear.
