A fire is currently raging in a detached house in the Oranjelaan in Alkmaar. A lot of smoke is released, according to the Security Region. That is why it is advisable to close windows and doors in the area.
The fire broke out around 9:30 p.m. on the first floor of the home. The residents have left the house on time, a spokesman said.
Photos show that an aerial work platform is also used to extinguish the fire and the house is severely damaged.
As far as we know, it is unlikely that the fire will spread to surrounding houses.
