A fire broke out briefly last night on an upstairs apartment on the Westerweiden, on the Hoge Akkers business park in Ruinerwold. Thanks to the efforts of several fire brigades, the fire is now under control. There are no injuries.
Just after 00:30, the fire brigade received a report about the fire, after which corps from Havelte, Meppel, Hoogeveen, Ruinen and De Wijk-Koekange came to the rescue. The fire was then quickly brought under control.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
