The serious fire broke out at a clothing store and spread to a hand car wash. There was a brief fear that the fire would spread to the Omniplex timber company, but the fire brigade was ultimately saved.
Around half past nine the fire brigade had everything under control. After CO measurements, everything turned out to be safe for people in the area, and they were allowed to return home during the evening.
The fire brigade continued to extinguish the fire on the site all night.
