Fire destroys warehouse in Oss, cattle saved in time

On the Mikkeldonkweg in Oss, a large fire raged in a shed at a farm on Friday afternoon. The fire broke out around 5 a.m. One of the sheds on the site was destroyed in the fire.

The plume of smoke could be seen in the area. According to the Security Region, hay and diesel were stored in the shed.

Cattle saved
Firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading to a second shed. The cattle in the shed were rescued just in time. Firefighters had the fire under control around 8 a.m. Extinguishing will take some time. The cause of the fire is still unclear.

There were solar panels on the roofs of the sheds. The fire brigade had turned out with three fire trucks, two water tankers and a cherry picker.
