A fire raged in a car in the Krakeel district of Hoogeveen last night. The fire brigade was called just after half past three and prevented the vehicle from being completely lost. The damage appears to have been limited to the interior.
The cause of the fire is unknown. Police are investigating whether it was arson.
There are more car fires in Hoogeveen. Cars went up in flames, especially last fall. This year too, some cars caught fire, although it remained quiet in April.
