Fire brigade must free scouts girl after falling into a deep canal during night game

The scouts were taking a night walk with a group of 15 when things went wrong just after midnight. A girl fell on a field and ended up in a dry ditch about three meters below. She couldn’t climb out on her own and could barely even move. The fire brigade and the MUG came to the scene to free the girl from her plight. She was lifted from the canal by ladder truck in a stretcher and taken to hospital by ambulance. She remained conscious the entire time. It is not clear how serious her injuries are.

The other members of the group were deeply affected by the incident. The night game was discontinued.
