Fire brigade is looking for two escaped snakes in Harelbeke

They escaped last night, the owner was distracted by her son and did not close the lock properly. These are still small snakes of about 50 cm, but the animals do grow to 1m 80. The couple is renovating, so the snakes have free play.

The woman emphasizes that the snakes would do nothing on their own. The brown royal python can even grab you, she says. Anyone who sees them can call the police or fire brigade. The owner will pick them up personally.

The fire brigade was on site for a while, but has since left.
