The fire brigade took action twice this evening to extinguish a bonfire on Schultestraat in Assen.
The fire brigade was called to an outdoor fire around 9:10 p.m. When emergency services arrived, wood and furniture appeared to have been set on fire. The fire brigade extinguished the fire.
Later in the evening, the fire brigade had to respond again to a fire on Schultestraat. This time there were a few more things thrown on the fire. Dozens of local residents watched as the fire brigade also extinguished this fire.
Last night the fire brigade also had to go to Schultestraat to extinguish a bonfire.
