A fire has broken out in the factory of Forbo Novilon BV in Coevorden. The fire broke out in an afterburner of a pump just after 3.30 pm.
After the automatic fire alarm went off, fire stations from Coevorden, De Krim, Schoonebeek and Zwinderen rushed to the factory on Parallelweg. The fire is now under control.
It is unknown how the fire started. The fire brigade advises to close windows and doors in the area.
