A fire broke out in the factory of Royal Bell Foundry Eijsbouts in Asten in the night from Thursday to Friday.
The fire broke out in one of the halls of the business premises. How the fire started is unknown, a passerby saw the fire and alerted the police. No one was injured.
Because the factory is located in the middle of the village, the fire brigade quickly scaled up.
After about an hour the fire was under control. Local residents are advised to keep doors and windows closed if they experience odor and smoke nuisance.
