At Berlin-Brandenburg Airport, several hundred passengers had to leave the main terminal on Saturday morning.
The reason for the evacuation was a fire alarm. A fire alarm in the entrance area of the airport triggered it, as a spokesman for the airport said on request on Saturday. The fire brigade did not find any indication of a fire.
The cause of the false alarm was not yet known. According to the spokesman, passengers in the “small four-digit range” were affected.
The incident, which only lasted a good half hour, did not seriously disrupt the flight plan.
