Fiorentina has formalized the list of players who will be able to take the field in the groups of the Conference League. Given the depth of the Viola squad and the UEFA restrictions for players not produced by the youth team, it was envisaged that in order to compose the UEFA lists, Vincenzo Italiano would have had to resort to some significant exclusions. For example, it was necessary to find a place for Maxime Lopez, bought from Sassuolo after the composition of the playoff lists, as well as for Antonin Barak who is about to return from injury. To make room for the two, Aleksandr Kokorin and Abdelhamid Sabiri were excluded: the former had entered the field against Rapid and had been praised by the Italian. Fiorentina will have to do without it. As in the previous lists, Gaetano Castrovilli remains out following knee surgery.
