Swimming promise Louna Kasvio will be seen in the EC final.

The EC short course swimming competitions in Romania’s Otopeni got off to a good start for Finland. Both Finnish relay teams cleared their way to the finals in the 4×50 meter freestyle relay and Lunch Vegetable17, swam to the 400m individual medley final.
In addition Ada Hakkarainen18, made it to the finals in the 800-meter freestyle with the fastest time of 8:35.55.
Youth EC bronze medalist Kasvio clocked a new Finnish youth record of 4:37.89 in the morning heats. He also held the previous record time, which was now handsomely lowered by two seconds.
– In my opinion, it was good enough. I made it to the final, which I’m really happy about. NSE is a nice bonus on top of that. In the evening, I use the same tactics as in the morning. Let’s try to go even harder if possible, commented Kasvio in an interview with Uimaliito.
Among those who reached the final, Kasvio’s time was the seventh best. The women’s 400-meter medley final starts as the first program number of the evening races at 6 p.m.
The women’s relay team was the last team to reach the finals. The men’s team was seventh in the heats.
The relay finals start on Tuesday at 19:00.
They belong to the women’s team Fanny Teijonsalo, Laura Lahtinen, Lotta Upanne mixed Kia Metsäkonkola and to the men’s team Niko Mäkelä, Ronny Brännkärr, Miikka Ruohoniemi mixed Ari-Pekka Liukkonen.
Hakkarainen will swim in the final of the 800-meter freestyle on Independence Day at around 18:49.
