The always eye-catching colored hair of the 26-year-old pop singer ALMA stands for her music: loud, colorful and full of joie de vivre. In 2020 she released her debut album HAVE YOU SEEN HER? out, which was followed by a European tour. Now ALMA is back with the new single “Everything Beautiful”.
“‘Everything Beautiful’ is also about the fact that everything beautiful must die,” the singer explained in an official statement. On the one hand, she wants to say that things are important to her and that she wants to learn something. “But there are also moments when I just want to close my eyes and be naive and stupid. After all, it’s also part of life.”
Although the song has depth and there is a message behind it, it is still one of the “lighter” tracks on the album. “It shows pretty well that I’ve been thinking hard, going through the old photos and shining a light on my teenage years,” ALMA said. The song is like the cover of a book – you automatically want to know what’s behind it.
More than 650 million streams
ALMA first appeared in front of the camera at the age of 17 on the Finnish talent show “Idols”. In the end she reached 5th place – two years later the singer was signed to Universal Music. Her pop songs have now racked up over 650 million combined streams, and ALMA is a songwriter for Ariana Grande, Lana Del Rey and Charli XCX.
