“I have nothing to hide,” the Social Democrat told the press. “I have not used drugs, so I have no problem taking a test.”
Marin added that the footage is private and was filmed in private rooms, during a party with friends. Some internet heroes thought the moves Marin displayed at the party were inappropriate for a prime minister.
As often happens at parties, “alcohol was drunk at this party,” Marin said, but she denied taking drugs herself or witnessing drug use by other attendees.
When Marin became Prime Minister in 2019, she was the youngest head of government worldwide. She was previously under fire for parties at her official residence. And late last year, she was criticized for attending an event, until dawn, when she had recently been in contact with someone who had tested positive for corona.
