The Finnish women’s national football team is heading towards the EC tournament after suffering two training game losses. In Saturday’s general practice in Holland, the home team was better with a score of 2–0.

Helmarii was especially disciplined by one of the best strikers in the world Vivianne Miedema. In the 30th minute, the Finnish defense line retreated deep into their own box and the Arsenal star was able to shoot freely at the end of the transfer, giving the Orange the lead.

In the second period, Miedema finished the Final Readings from close range Tinja-Riikka Korpelan to guard the goal.

Helmarie’s real scoring chances were few and far between, although the match progressed seemingly evenly for long periods. However, the difference in level was noticeable and the tempo was very leisurely at times.

Holland is one of the top teams in the world, but is not currently among the strongest champions in England’s EC tournament. English head coach against Finland Mark Parsons ran his best lineup. The oranges still didn’t have to put everything in the game.

Finland’s results are not double during the European Championships. On Monday, Finland lost to Japan in Turku by no less than 1–5. The training matches against the national championship teams were of course important preparation, because in the European Championships Helmarit will be in a mercilessly tough group.

Finland opens its European Championship season on Friday with a match against Spain. The other countries in the starting group are Denmark and Germany.
