In Eindhoven, the team won 2-1 thanks to a questionable goal by Noussair Mazraoui. In the battle for the Johan Cruijff Scale, PSV was too strong with 4-0.

Ajax did not concede any goals:
In the road to the final Ajax dealt with Barendrecht (4-0), Excelsior Maassluis (9-0), Vitesse (5-0) and AZ (0-2). The striking thing about those matches is that Ajax did not concede a single goal.
