Final exams have started: no one failed at all in these municipalities last year

The school exams are starting again. An exciting time for many students, while others finish their high school years with a whistle. Last year, 94 percent nationally passed the final exam. Six percent were allowed to repeat the final exam year. In four municipalities in Brabant, not a single student failed last school year. How many graduates were able to fly the flag in your municipality?

Last year, Brabant had four municipalities where all students could put out their flag and backpack:

  • Someren: Varendonck College – 148 graduates.
  • Laarbeek: Commanderij College – 122 graduates.
  • Drimmelen: Dongemond College – 89 graduates.
  • Budel: Bravo College Cranendonck – 33 graduates.

In addition to the graduates, there are also students who did not reach the finish line in 2022. These are the municipalities where the percentage of students failed the most. The figures come from the Education Executive Agency (DUO).

  • Goirle: 29 failed (11.3 percent).
  • Bergen op Zoom: 111 failed (11.2 percent).
  • Etten-Leur: 61 failed (9.4 percent).
  • Oosterhout: 49 failed (8.4 percent).
  • Den Bosch: 136 failed (7.7 percent).
  • Oss: 85 failed (7.1 percent).
