“My whole heart is in this film,” said a vulnerable Joe Wright (49) in an interview with this newspaper. “Like the rest of the world, I was locked up because of a pandemic. There was a time when all I could do was cry for weeks. That lack of human interaction was a real ordeal for many other people too, so I wanted to create something that oozes zest for life, compassion and kindness.”
