Film museum in Roeselare is for sale

Michel himself is still busy daily with the maintenance of his collection and showing visitors around. But he’s 80, so he’s looking for a buyer. Cost: half a million euros.

Michel Remaut has, among other things, an antique viewing and editing table. You can’t imagine what he has to offer. Rare film projectors, unique cameras. You name it. The entire collection consists of 2,400 pieces, mostly with a nice story. Twenty years ago, he converted an old garage into a film museum. Until before corona, his cinema where you can play films on request attracted about 5,000 visitors. Michiel also has his own collection.

The site and the film museum with everything on it is estimated at around 500,000 euros. It is now waiting for a buyer.
