The screenwriter, director and writer Wolfgang Kohlhaase is dead. He died in Berlin on Wednesday at the age of 91, the Academy of Arts said, citing his wife Emöke Pöstenyi.
Kohlhaase grew up in Berlin Adlerhof, since 1952 he was a freelance screenwriter and writer.
The Association of German Screenwriters (VDD) made him an honorary member at the 2011 Berlinale.
