Fila Luxembourg SArL, owner of the global Fila brand rights, announces the launch of the new Fila+ line. The creative director of the line is Lev Tanju, the founder of the skatewear brand Palace.
Fila+’s first collection consists of clothing and accessories that combine high-quality materials with a modern design. The Fila archives provide inspiration. The centerpiece is the Italian brand’s iconic F-Box logo. The historic logo has been updated with vibrant new colors, with green and a lighter shade of red on a white background.
Lev Tanju grew up in London’s skate culture and founded his brand Palace in 2009. He will also continue in his role as Creative Director of Palace. “His collaborations with various brands and artists have shown that he is able to reach a wide audience beyond the skater community. This talent for bringing different cultures together is one of the main reasons why he was chosen to lead Fila+,” says Fila’s press statement.
The brand will be distributed globally, with a focus on key e-commerce platforms, local department stores and key stores, it said. The first Fila+ collection is currently being presented to retailers, and the start of retail sales is to be accompanied by a media campaign in June 2024.
