Why are farms a bit slanted along the road in many places? This is the case, for example, along the Meppel-Ruinerwold-Oosteinde-Ruinen road, a questioner from Ansen knows. Is this related to the wind? The sound of traffic? Or is there a completely different idea behind it?

Coevorden is an ancient city, and has been inhabited since the eleventh century AD. Coins were also minted in the fortified town in the 14th century. But where was this done? Jan Veenstra from Coevorden would like to know that.
