Fighting between Kurdish troops and members of the jihadist terrorist group Islamic State (IS) is taking place in northeast Syria for the third day in a row. The violence has already killed nearly 90 people. This is reported by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), which monitors the war in Syria from Great Britain.
