Figc-Dazn agreement: for the first time here are the talks between referees and the Var

Show football from every point of view. It is one of the objectives of the agreement reached today by the FIGC and Dazn for the creation of exclusive editorial content, the first of which will focus on the theme of talks between referees and the Var.

Through a series of clips, fans will be able to understand how the match officials, referees on the field and video assistant referees in the central Var interpreted the main episodes of the Serie A championship that has just ended. FIGC and Dazn will combine their respective skills: the audio of the talks of the referees and the Video Assistant Referees will be combined with the images of the most controversial episodes to reconstruct the evaluations, interpretations and definitive decisions. It is in fact a radical change in the story of football and in its use by fans, a product that aims to accompany a cultural change in the various targets involved in Italian football and at the same time tell it from a new perspective, training and informing fans, but also the media and insiders, explaining the match officials’ approach, the difficulty of having to make the right decision in emotionally not always easy conditions and comparing the television images to the sensory perception of the episode on the pitch. And finally, also showing the error which is, after all, a part to be considered in the complex activity of objective evaluation of a fact, in any field.

Youth Finals

Dazn will then be the official broadcaster for the live streaming of the finals of the youth championships organized by the FIGC, i.e. the nine championship finals of the Under 18, 17, 16 and 15 championships for Serie A and B clubs and those for clubs of Serie C, in addition to the Under 17 and 15 Women’s Finals. It will also be possible to follow the four Under 17 Serie A and B and Under 18 semi-finals. The extensive schedule that begins on Sunday 11 June in Ancona will start from the semi-finals of this category with Roma-Spal (5.00 pm) and in San Benedetto del Tronto with Inter-Sassuolo (8.30 pm).
