15-year-old Renske Huntelaar amazed the squash world last week. As a very young talent, she won the national women’s title. Her association Meersquash is of course very proud of the squash star from Hoofddorp and therefore put her in the spotlight.
“It’s special that Meersquash organized this,” says Renske Huntelaar about her club’s honoring because of its national women’s title. “It shows that I am something.”
To the great surprise of everyone, the very young Huntelaar won the National Squash Championships last weekend in the Frans Otten Stadium in Amsterdam. An achievement she will never forget, but her ambitions go further. Ultimately, the squash star from Hoofddorp wants to participate in the 2028 Olympic Games. “To be there for the Netherlands seems like a lot of fun.”
