Club World Cup to Saudi Arabia
This year’s FIFA Club World Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia. FIFA made a final decision on Tuesday. The event is played in December, about a year after the World Cup for Nations was played in Qatar.
Seven clubs will participate in the tournament, including the winner of the European Champions League. FIFA wants to expand the World Cup for clubs to 32 participants from 2025.
The 2022 FIFA Club World Cup was held in Morocco last week. Real Madrid, the representative of Europe, defeated Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal 5-3 in the final.
