The draw for next summer’s World Cup will take place on Friday, December 5 at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington. FIFA has confirmed that the Dutch national team is in Pot 1, just like home countries Canada, Mexico, United States, Spain, Argentina, France, England, Brazil, Portugal, Belgium and Germany.

Remarkably, it is already clear that Spain and Argentina will only meet in the final. The same goes for France and England.

Curaçao and possibly Suriname will certainly end up in pot 4, just like four-time world champion Italy, for example, if the country still qualifies for the final tournament via the European play-offs.
