Last weekend, Umut “Umut” Gültekin was crowned reigning world champion in FIFA 22. Two more international events are coming up soon, where German eSports players can count on good chances.
In the final of the FIFAe World Cup, Umut narrowly defeated Nicolas “Nicolas99FC” Villalba on penalties and thus secured Germany’s first victory in the three major tournaments. In addition, the FIFAe Club Series and FIFAe Nations Series are coming up soon.
The FIFAe Club Series will take place in Copenhagen from July 20th to 23rd. Several German teams have a chance of winning there.
Because alongside 1. FC Köln, FC Schalke 04 and NEO are in the running. The latter organization can, for example, rely on the services of the German champion Dylan “DullenMIKE” Neuhausen.
The finale is the FIFAe Nations Series. This will take place from July 27th to 30th, also in Copenhagen.
With the newly crowned FIFA World Champion Umut, the German champion DullenMIKE as well as Kai “hensoo” Hense and Mustafa “Musti” Cankal, Germany is one of the favorites for the nation title in FIFA 22.
