According to information from various FIFA insiders, a top international club could return in the FIFA 22 sequel. Because the Italian record champions Juventus Turin are apparently about to be represented in the new title again under their original name.
For three years Juventus Turin was present in the game as “Piemonte Calcio”. However, an exclusive partnership with EA Sports competitor Konami will expire this summer.
Previously, the Italians were exclusively represented in the soccer simulation eFootball (previously: PES). This could change in the successor to FIFA 22.
There are said to be no negotiations between Konami and Juventus Turin at the moment. In addition, game developer EA acquired the license for Series A in September 2021.
Therefore all clubs of the highest Italian league can be shown with logos, names and jerseys. Excluded from this are clubs that have exclusive partnerships with other publishers.
