Fidan Ekiz would find it a bad thing if Thierry Baudet is indeed boycotted by her talk show Op1. “I hope that such agreements have not been made,” said the presenter.
Wilfred Genee, the presenter of Today Inside, claims that Thierry Baudet is no longer welcome at Op1. “Is it true that Op1 no longer invites him or does he no longer want to join?” Leonie ter Braak asked him surprised in VI last week. He replied: “No, he is no longer invited. He really wants to join.”
What does Fidan say?
What does Fidan Ekiz, one of the presenters of Op1, say about this? Yesterday she was a guest of Leonie in the talk show HLF8 and answered there: “I am very honest when I say that I do not know whether there are agreements about that.”
Leonie: “Would you do it in Op1? Would you talk to him?”
Fidan: “I would give him… Yes, I would. I don’t have a list that I think: those people don’t. I think if you make it a good and solid critical interview – that won’t be easy, because the conspiracy theories are flying around you – that it is important.”
Very dangerous
Thierry is a dangerous politician, according to Fidan. “His supporters, and that is what Kaag rightly deserves dog whistle mentioned, get out what they want to get out of it. Other people don’t even notice what he’s doing there, but it’s very dangerous what he’s doing.”

Fidan would therefore not support an Op1 boycott of Thierry. “I wouldn’t say in advance that I don’t want to and I hope that there are no such agreements. Otherwise he will go to Ongehoord Nederland, like today. No, of course he doesn’t get any critical questions there.”
And would Leonie like to have him at the table at HLF8? “Yes, a good question. My own personal preference, of course, doesn’t matter what I think. They shouldn’t shut him up completely, should they? Why should you do that? You have to keep talking to a Thierry Baudet, right?” she says in VI.
Johan for boycott
Johan Derksen does think that Thierry should be banned from talk show tables. “You know what’s coming. He is going to put up another story that is not relevant to hit left and right.”
Wilfred: “But he’s not a stupid boy, is he, just to be clear.”
John: “Absolutely not. It’s just a riot. A disturbing factor.”
Leonie: “Yes, but she is in the House and represents a number of seats. So you can’t completely ignore a boy like that.”
