Fidan Ekiz gets a big sneer from Geert Wilders, the political leader of the PVV. He blames her ignorance after she cut off a big lock live in her talk show Op1 yesterday.
Op1 star Fidan Ekiz decided last night, like her guests Yesim Candan and Dilan Yesilgöz, to cut a piece of hair to show support for the women of Iran. They protest against the oppression by the Islamic regime. That started after the death of Mahsa Amini (22), who was violently arrested because her headscarf did not fit properly.
‘Silly!’
According to Geert Wilders, it is not only symbolic politics, but also hypocritical. He is terribly annoyed by Fidan and the other two ladies. “Well that will help. What nonsense,” he sneered in a tweet.
He continues: “If it is proposed here to ban the imperialist Islamic headscarf, the hijab, niqab and burka as a sign of humiliation and submission to women, then the same ladies are screaming bloody murder.”
Edition NL-scissors
Piet Adema, the new Minister of Agriculture, also cut a piece of his hair, using the scissors from the TV program Editie NL.
Geert says about this: “Good heavens, just a minister and now he is already disqualifying himself. A gesture of total ignorance. No Muslim in Iran or NL is of any use. Kick the Iranian ambassador out of our country, ban the headscarf in the Netherlands, close the borders and stop Islamization here, that helps!”
