Feyenoord will broadcast the Conference League final against AS Roma on big screens in De Kuip. The Rotterdam club recently announced its intention to do so and now has everything in place.
Prior to the match, which will be played on May 25 in the Arena Kombëtare in Albanian Tirana, artists and DJs will perform in De Kuip. The final can be seen on four large screens. A ticket costs 15 euros.
Feyenoord received about four thousand tickets for the final in Tirana. Three thousand of these were intended for supporters and the other thousand went to sponsors and family and friends of the players and staff.
In addition, about 8,500 tickets went on sale. Feyenoord was not aware that the sale started at 12:00 on Tuesday. As a result, many supporters did not get the chance to buy a ticket.
UEFA apologized on Wednesday, but also emphasized that the cards – as intended – have largely gone to the local population. Feyenoord feared that the tickets had often fallen into the hands of AS Roma fans.
Feyenoord will close the Eredivisie season on Sunday with a home game against FC Twente. The team of trainer Arne Slot then has ten days to prepare for the Conference League final.
